Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ The Queenscliff- Sorrento ferry daily plies the waters of Port Phillip Bay between the southern regions of Mornington Peninsula and Bellarine Peninsula. (Sorrento and Queenscliff represent the oldest settlements pre-Melbourne). She is a car ferry.

While I think there is nothing routine about tides at sea, I can see how it would be rather predictable and unremarkable for a car ferry. Spectacle of grace! Lovely.

It is a lovely spectacle. I live near Portland, Maine USA a small city with a lot of outlying islands. The ferries running in and out the harbor all day are very small and very yellow!
