But for old sites - visit Newgrange in Ireland. It is about 500 years older that the pyramids.
I have a few Egyptian things myself, including a stone pyramid. It is the most fabulous thing - incredibly heavy. Great post!

These are great! My daughter is into Egyptology and took some courses in anthropology because of her interest.
