Great shot and beautiful words again Gemma! :)
A very nice picture! I just love the name "daffodil". It makes me smile. It is like a cartoon name!
Here in Norway we call theme "PĂ„skeliljer" that means "Easternlilly":)
This is my first time on monochrome weekly .

Ah, it is Spring.
Wonderful photo described beautifully.
ah the monochrome gives out a glow in itself! :)
A very nice shot, but I must admit that I liked your pic of it in colours better... But that`s just me;-)
Daffadils in black and white always remind me of my elderly friend Alice who passed away last April. Her garden was full of perfect ones which I photographed in black and white just after her passing. Someone commented how I could have sucked the yellow life out of them by choosing black and white but I didn't see it that way...
How different it looks in black and white, almost as if it were carved of stone. It has a completely unexpected feel to it. Love it!
Oh well, we'll have to settle for the coming autumn, but we can have your flower to look at while we wait for next year!
