oh those are so beautiful words!
pic is sad.. to see the trapped wings of beauty.... sigh..
i re read it... its just resting? not trapped? the angle of the shot is such that i got confused... lovely pic too!
Black lace butterfly
Or a moth in deep mourning?
Ephemeral leaves.
An important message and impressive, if sad, picture.
Can't really see what it is, but it looks sad.
Good to know that whether the butterfly is trapped or resting, if we allow for change, the beauty of life and observation never ends.
Beautiful and I keep thinking how fortunate you were to notice and then have camera in hand to capture it.
your words have inspiration in them.

Truly griping words Gemma - I enjoy your words!
Have a great week!

how important to take notice, be mindful and protective of the fragile.
Gemma, I often think of the ants that I kill. Then I remember the food chain and balance of nature.
It all balances out, we humans are in the equation. And are at or very near the top.
..
large kill small and weak
all a part of God's equation
balance of nature
..
Lovely, Gemma. The fragile often gets dismissed if not trampled.
Marvellous! The words have profound undertones, and an empathy towards fragile beings... And I must say, the image is a perfect compliment to your verse..
Some things we are allowed to see...we think are fragile and yet...in truth, their strength is far stronger than many can ever imagine.
You have a blessed sight.
The fragile must be strong - this is a wonderful piece!
