This is the public walkway from the opening to Port Phillip Bay right down the newly dredged channel.

A cute idea having that Jolly Roger flag there! How nice it must be to reside in a penthouse apartment with your very own private pier access! I can only dream of living in such a place!
My daughter and her late husband dressed as pirates one year for Halloween, they looked so authentic,human hair beards and all, no one had a clue who they were, they had a blast. It was Matt's last Halloween, but we have lots of pics to remind us of the fun while we had our dear Matt.
It's a pirates life for me matey...argh...or maybe just gimme Johnny Depp...right!
That was so much fun passing that award on to Robin, she is so like minded and I can identify with her Mother too, they are dear, talented friends, true soul sisters from further north in Michigan state...too cold up there for me!
