Enchanted Maze Garden Entrance
Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Love how this entrance sign for the Enchanted Maze Graden at Arthurs Seat, Mornington Peninsula is almost swallowed up by a hedge!
Hedges are a feature throughout the mazes, so somehow this seems appropriate.

Wetland and Wildlife Creations
Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~
Wetland and Wildlife Creations vehicle parked at Flinders beach, Mornington Peninsula.
This is an award winning (and only) environmental company in Australia, based at Main Ridge near Arthurs Seat.
It specialises in consulatation, design and construction of wetland and wildlife habitats.
But isn't it strange how words can be double-edged.
The fact that such a company exists is a sad reflection on civilisation.
Humanity needs to "patch up" a connection with Nature.

The Rip Bar
Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ I know this sign at the Portsea Hotel, Mornington Peninsula may seem a little "dubious"!
However, its real meaning has geographical innocence.
The Rip is the name of the opening from Port Phillip Bay out to Bass Strait.
And the Portsea Hotel is not far from there.
