Your lovely photos prove that there is something very magical about a winter sky.
Another day gently put to rest for the night - so peaceful!
Such dreamy sky scapes in your world in winter, our trees would be bare and the snows would be flying...ahhh...to live in a temperate climate where winter's cold was just a slight inconvenience.
With leaves still on the trees, I have a hard time thinking of winter. When I lived in Florida, this is how my winters were, you may have a cold-snap of just 30 degrees, but it was gone in a flash and the sun prevailed...but not Iowa...so cold your nose freezes shut, fingers and toes freeze while shoveling the snows away and leaves of summer's past have long turned to mulch...UNDER the trees...
Ewwwww...that's a scene that I'll not think about just yet, I'll languish in your sunset a bit longer if I may...
