Shadow and His Angel

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Shadow likes to sit right near this angel on my verandah in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula.
At this point, he is on the edge of the verandah with quite a sizeable drop to the ground below.

I dearly love cats, but the heathen will not allow, I miss the close companionship of the aloof feline, they are always so unconcerned with life...and it's like they say, 'you want the best seat in the house, move the cat'...

We had a very rainy, gloomy Independence Day today, hardly anyone on the road...not a bad thing, as long as we remember the meaning of the day...freedom, may we all share in it!
