Sharp colors. Beautiful birds.
I have a photo of the Rosellas that is red and blue, I took it in, 1990.

Beautiful
Colorful !
Rosellas are beautiful birds. I do not remember ever having seen or heard of them.
You just get the best shots of the colorful lil' creatures. I just spent the last few minutes chasing starlings from my little Jenny wren's house, they are such pests and I hear they are great pests in Australia too.
Where is the summer going to, after the 4th of July Independence celebrations, I start lamenting about winter's coming...and now it is even worse. I wouldn't mind be locked up at home for the 6 months if I knew the economy was stable. My life has turned to living one day at a time, something this Virgo is not accustomed to. I plan ahead and think to the future, my bank account says otherwise these days.
This world is so different from my youth, I just want to lock myself away from it all. To be self sufficient and be done with the world, but being alone is a hard row to hoe...
Hope your winter is nothing like ours will be...to have flowers still blooming in winter, would be paradise for sure!
See ya friend at SSS,as the weeks fly by...
Hugs,
s
just the nicest pics!
love your blog.
How beautiful ~ wish we had those types of birds in America that just flew in our backyards.
These are beautiful birds. I would like to be awaken with them chirping. How lucky to have these birds in your backyard. Have a great weekend!
Those are amazing shots of the beautiful birds. What a treat to have them in your back garden.
gem they are gorgeous!! we don't have any birds that would even come close to them around here!!!
Gemma are these wild parakeets? how beautiful and unusual.
A beautiful blog, wonderful pictures :)
It would be so much fun to have such colorful visitors in my yard, but they probably wouldn't like our cold, snowy winters here in NY. This is a beautiful post for Nature Notes... I hope you get to spring soon..of course then we will be moving into fall....Michelle
