So cute!!
What a fun shot! It looks like it's their boat, and they're just hanging out in the sunshine... Where's the beer? :-)
Great shot of the birds hanging out!
What a rag-tag crew! Pirates...?
Heck of a Party.
They almost look like Cormorants, except for the white spots.
They definitely look as though they have taken ownership of that little boat! Lovely shot.
They are certainly rowing that boat, aren't they? Wonderful haiku.
Love the ruffled feathers on that one!
A fun haiku!
Nature makes do. :)
Like feathered clothes on the line
great image
the photo is wonderful too
I enjoyed the framing of the first one and the way you had caught the rays in the second and the third.
Saw birds like these when I was travelling around the Gold Coast to NSW or to sunshine coast.
Thanks for visiting.
I read your personal info with interest. You are a survivor. What do you teach? I am also a teacher, teaching English as a second language.
Men are funny, my husband calls me Old Woman, used to get upset, not anymore, i call him Old man back.
Oh my gosh..I got my weeks confused and am late visiting Nature Notes. Groan....I love this photo. One of the birds looks like it is trying to get its balance like it is a young bird. Love the haiku too..am trying, but mine just aren't very good ..@:} Thank you for being such a loyal participant in Nature Notes Gemma... Michelle
