Reflections in a shop window at Melbourne Central Railway station.
Part of the design of the window are columns and arches etched on the glass.
The etching frames the subtle reflections around.
This photo was taken without a flash.
The reflected lights seem to become a part of the design.
Fanciful window
A glimpse of classical worlds
Romantic escape
This version is taken with a flash.
(I know! It seems to be that this is the "no flash" version and the other photo is "the flash"!)

Wonderful to see Gemma..
I am so glad you explained about the flash and no, Gemma because I was about to suggest that you think that through again!! I wonder how that works? Does one set of light negate the other set? Whatever ... it is a wonderfully elegant set of windows/mirrors/displays. Reflections are wonderful things to try to capture.
Wonderful captures for the day, Gemma! I love them both, but the second has a kind of mysterious feel to it that I like a lot!

Great capture of reflections on many levels, Gemma!
How interesting the way these turned out...I kind of got lost in the first one, just walking through what seemed like hundreds of arches. Very nice.
That is one very cool window! I love the way the reflected lights in the first version look like they are part of the arcarde.
