I measure out my life with haiku. My camera films my soul. ~ Gemma Wiseman
AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Happy day****
Ah - your coastline is beautiful and reminds me of Oregon (instead of where we are now) -- a wilder ocean!
Great view.
Oh dear friend, it was so good to hear from you, I think of you often as well. It does my heart good to see your sunny shores, the temps here are dropping fast, down to 12 degrees tonight at 10:30,it snowed off and on all day...brrrr!!!
Yes, my daughter and I are having issues again. I want to be out on my own and she is having problems with that...you might say she's a spoiled only child. I want peace and quiet in my life and a schedule that suits me.
I'm thinking more and more of Florida these days, especially as the winter is finally here, it's been the weirdest season so far, 50's one day, teens the next, but it's the windchill that gets ya, 10-20 below zero...now that's cold!
How's your shoulder mending, takes a lot longer these days huh. I don't get much exercise right now cause of the cold, I can feel it in my bones. We must have another front moving in, me ol' bones feel it!
Been watching shows from Australia lately, Guy Pearce is one of my faves, the movie The Proposition, a fave, had a spot in it where one of the actors peered out the window(turn of the century)looking into the outback and said "what fresh hell is this"...I love that line, so naturally I did another blog, a crazy blog about zombies and other strange delights...ha...you know me, always the crazy one...http://what fresh-hell.blogspot.com...be afraid!!!
Still no new computer, every time I want to go, it snows...I may have to order online just to get it here before spring...ha!
Take care little mouse, be talkin' to ya soon...big hugs from the frozen tundras...s
Good scenery!
