Summer Waves and a Touch of Red

Some summer has appeared!
And the boats are out celebrating!
These boats are sailing the Port Phillip Bay waters near Dromana beach.

Sailing summer waves
Feeling fresh summer breezes
The thrill of outdoors

I hope that the wake from the power boat doesn't swamp the sailing watercraft...

Yes, summer's here in Newcastle too, but it doesn't feel too sure of itself yet. We're getting some deliciously refreshing breezes though, which I prefer to the heat, and which your shot captures.

Looks pretty choppy to me - I would have to choose between what comes with the breeze and probably
a hot-out-today situation! Nice shot!

Being outdoors is what's so brilliant about an Aussie summer, right? Unless it's 43 degrees ...

Love the splash of red! Although, come to think of it, I love ANY splash of red!!

Talking summer in the darkest winter is a morbid conversation.
I can dream summer any time.
Even though I live by the coast I have never really sailed a small sail boat. Never had one.
I love being out at sea in the summer, waving to sail boats.. Especially those with red sails in the sunset.
