JEN! What's this syrupy, starry stuff in the drawer near our tickets?
What's that? It's your drawing?
FIRST prize?
Our trip to Hawaii?

I keep forgetting it is always the next day for you in your neck of the woods.

Songs can touch the heart in places prose cannot. Thea Gilmore words from a song whose title doesn't do justice to her lyrics (so I will omit it) hit my heart with :

"No shoulder is strong enough when the sky begins to cry."

Having survived too many hurricanes that line touched me in ways it wouldn't others.

Have a lovely new week, Roland

It's interesting to see the different takes folks come up with for this meme. Very good!

I'd take a sticky syrupy picture for a trip to Hawaii. I'm afraid if I find syrupy things, it's most likely to just be syrup...

Nothing wrong with syrup as long as it golden. I've gone for science for today's 140

I think the drawing should be taken out of the drawer and hung on the wall in a place of honor! Great job this week.

I wonder how you made such a different positive thought out of that. My story is by far the most negative

Now I want to know what was that syrupy, starry stuff and why was it in the drawer. I'd have been worried that the tickets were ruined!

Interesting take on this week's picture--a more positive one than most of ours!
