Very fetching image and amazing macro detail of the center of the flower, alas, taxonomy isn't one of my skills, but it's still a very pretty image.

Protea's are so cool and beautiful additions to your winter garden - I love their blooms - I once had 2 as houseplants but they got too big so I gave them away.

Lovely bloom. I'd be happy with it any time ofthe year.
Very interesting flower, I like the pattern formed by the petals and the puff in the middle.
If that's how mid winter looks in Australia, I want to move there too.
