Have you ever seen what happens when birds face bum on to a strong wind? It is the equivalent of having an umbrella turn inside out! Ha!
Gorgeous picture! I'd love to see that bird in reality someday!
Personally, I really like the second one as winter at the beach is one of my favorite times. The weather can be quite harsh, which adds to the allure. In the first one, I hope you have the TV tuned to the food chanel so the birds can at least see some food from up there.

I have always wondered what a kookaburra looks like. I used to sing the song to my children when they were little.
