Like eyes set in bars

1. Post a photograph of ANYTHING that relates to mailboxes.
Here are a few ideas/subjects!

vintage cards/postcards
old letters
even VIRTUAL letters
postal vans
2. Your link must be a "permalink" and go directly to your Weekend Mailbox post.
3. Link back to Weekend Mailbox in your post tags.
4. You may like to use the Weekend Mailbox badge located in this post or on the sidebar! Right click and save it on your computer. When you add it to your post, ensure you click on the image and link it to Gemma's Greyscale Territory. Then others may follow the link here.
P.S. I am aware that U.S. has official mailboxes.
But anything related to mail is great for this meme!
It's OK to think outside "the mailbox"!!!
N.B. As I think of extra possibilities, I will add them to the list!
You may even like to suggest some!

They are rather like bird feeders, aren't they? How cute! Is that number 21 or should it be 1, 2 - if so, why does it read right to left?

Haha! They do look like little eyes. I hope they don't freak the mailman out too much!

The up and down slots kind of remind me of bat boxes. Yeeeek!

I like the fence though!

Dear Gemma, I love the meme concept of weekend mailbox and I wish to join next time. It's about time there is something we can do with our treasures we kept for years and showcase them. Great post. I join the Postcard exchange web where we can send real postcards and get the same real postcards back. It's fun to get something real which we can pull out from the mailbox.

Love your post here and the layered reflection above. I get that result now and then but still keep them anyway.
