We'd say that the shadow of the playground looks more fun that the playground actually does! Love the twists & turns....what our imagination sees!!

That is a great shot and is so abstract and fun.

Wonderful shadow shot, Gemma! It brings back fun memories not only of my kids playing, but the children I watched play everyday during recess when I was teaching. Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

Hello dear friend, sounds like you'll be at the playground soon enough with all those reports a fading memory...YIPPEE!!!

This sure has been a crazy year for storms, last night the sky churned for hours, the storm circled our heads and seemed like it wasn't going anywhere. My brother and I talked on the phone for an hour comparing sky notes, as he lives in the inner city about 8 miles North of me. I'm on the plains, so I can see the storms for miles...very creepy!!!
And of course with the sirens going it gives an air raid feeling of doom...such is life in tornado alley in the summer!

My plans for a garage/work shop/studio/store are finally coming about. I looked at garage plans yesterday, which is why I drove into the eye of the beast...it's where the carpenter lives...hey, for a shop/garage, I'll take the tornado route. So be prepared for my next venture...my goal is to have a store in the country where I can work at home all day and send people back into the city to my daughter's store. Then come winter, I'll have a huge sale, clear out the space to park my truck over the cold seasons...good one aye!!!

The fact of the matter is, I just need a garage and workspace, but you know me...a garage isn't just a garage, it must be multifunctional...that's just how I roll!

And sad to say, but I haven't seen my lil' Mouse since the last time we talked, I hope there is a good life for he/she.

Take care dear friend and keep an eye on the sky and the sea for me.

Much love...sister

The playground equipment makes such lovely shadows with straight and curvy lines. I also like the textured surface the shadow is on.

You've captured wonderful lines and curves in the playground equipment shadows and some great textures too! It makes me want to go out to play. :) But I'm past getting dizzy on a merry-go-round!

Looks like a sweet little playground. No children playing? It must be too cold for them. Thankfully it wasn't too cold for the shadows to be out and about playing. Have a great week Gemma!

I like it. Everything casts a shadow if the sun accomodates, and the geometry is fantastic Good stuff!

Peace.
