A white interior wall seems to be bland - unless of course, we can make it a canvas for artistic endevours of many sorts.

Like the shadow. It appears like charcoal on a sketch pad, adding an artistic style. Nature's art arrives for momentary viewing. A great capture!

Kind of a Monet in shadow. I like it! It's been gray here too, but today the sun is shining and i'm getting hot sitting in my car!!
Happy SSS to you Gemma.

Your shadows look so cool and refreshing as I sit, the temperature rising, wondering how many more days I can resist the AC.

I love the afternoon shadows in my home, they stop me dead in my tracks...are we addicted or are our eyes just a little more open.

I haven't seen my lil' Mouse yet this afternoon, but the morning bowl of munchies was empty and I glimpsed a grey streak running for the safety of the lair...sooo cute and yes, that's exactly what I thought about this lil' soul and your Shadow...hmmmm...!

Our grand opening was fabulous, everyone loved the new space. Did I mention that I was interviewed by one of the local TV stations, it went very well, to my surprise. Staring into the lens of a TV camera is a bit unnerving, but we got wonderful feedback from it, my daughter conveniently had to go to an appointment, so I was stuck doing the interview...geesh...kids!

My Dad has been really sick with the flu too, at 82, we watch over him diligently hoping it doesn't turn into something serious...I sure hope yours is under control, the older we get the less of that we have!

I am living for each moment of this summer season, my garden is fabulous, my freezer is full of strawberries, tomorrow I harvest sno-peas and broccoli...mmmmmm...and probably more strawberries!!! I'm even enjoying mowing the grass, savoring the scent of the ever-growing ground cover...I live for the summer, however the mosquitos have become ravenous, so I don't sit on the swing too long, just one cup of coffee, then I'm swarmed!

Hope your week is filled with less stress and less flu symptoms...know that I think of you often and wish you well dearest friend...a big American smooch from me and Scratch and Mouse...heehee!!!

Hi Gemma!
