White Sails on the Bay

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Sailing on Port Phillip Bay near Queenscliff, Bellarine Peninsula.
I took these photos just over a week ago during the school holidays, when the winter sun emerged after several days of rain and wind!
We celebrated the sunshine by taking a ride on the Queenscliff-Sorrento ferry!

What a lovely way to celebrate sunshine! We could use a bit of sun here in central Canada. ;-)

Fantastic snaps. Love the color of water and sky.

Beautiful. Nice to see beautiful blue skies. We haven't had them much this season.

Sailing is something I've never done. Makes one want to be out on the water when they see a sailboat. The closest I've come to sailing is being on a speedboat or houseboat.

I see the sun hitting the sails and can almost imagine what it would be like there on the boat with the sun falling on my outstretched face. I like the subtle reflection in the second shot.
Nicely done.

Hi!
Great shot! That looks like so much fun. Never been on a sail boat in the ocean. Have a great day!
