Purple Imaginings

Sweet Repose said...: I love 'purple berets'...how clever...I'm sitting here waiting for the sun to clear the horizon so I can go sit with my coffee and my binoculars on my brand new 'old' porch swing...to watch the new tenants of the bird condos, come home to roost.

These are the times I dream of, warm(not quite)Sundays, sweet soft music and bird song...ahhhh...summer is on it's way...watching the winter ebb is such a joy to us in the North, we are all so anxious to get outside in the sun. Some springs can just drag on, cold, damp and grey...we worship the sun!

I'm sure many think I'm strange, as I don't mow my 6 acres...a small space for Scratchy to pee and a small space for my garden table, is all I mow and I use an ol' timey mower, that has no motor...the rest is gardens.

I do wish you could click your heels and find yourself magically transported to my swing...the sounds and smells are cleansing...
