Cloudia said...: Ah, we dragon fanciers are a world-wide breed! Here in Hawaii they were called "Mo`o" (moe-oh). Today they keep a low profile so as not to scare the visitors.

Sweet Repose said...: Can you imagine, back in the day, sailors on the open sea seeing such strange creatures and having no clue what they were, simply calling them dragons...good thing they didn't have Sci-fi movies...it would've scared the crap out of them and they would've stayed home...maybe staying out of everyone else's business...ya think...naaaa...too greedy for that scenario.
