This morning, I travelled early to the shops by the sea. Just a few avid bike riders ribboned the winding road. Sunlights and shadows played. Cascading wild flowers and waterfalls of feathery greens and greys. And the sea! Early morning silver-blue! Almost like crystals dancing! I felt close to my songlines, an earthly heaven.
~~~~~~~~~~~ I wish, I so wish I owned a digital camera. Raw poverty may attract the angels of poetry, but it sure helps to actually own some lens, a tangible eye on local beauty. I would so love others to see what I see!
Flying
Arcing
Slowly
Down
Flanked by
Luminous parallels
Of gold
And weeping
Ghostly
Greys
Down
Slipping
Down
To a sea
Of silvered blue
In the quiet mists
Of morning
A heavenly fall
To grace
On earth
