A fork
Loaded
With bite size
Food
~Regimented
Doses
For the hungry
And somnambulist
Ritual feeders
Alike~
Such a fork
Is a prong
A goad
For the road~
Any road
~
But a fork
IN
The road
Is quite
Another matter
~
Stop?
Detour?
Turn back?
Split?
~
Such a fork
Is a symbol
Of breathing~
Old breaths
Or new
~
But to think
One prong
One goad
Is progress
~
Is quite
Another matter
