AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Height of Haiku Challenge ~ Rhythm

When the car is parked in the rain and you are sitting inside the car, it is amazing to see how rain rhythms constantly re-create the regular shapes and colours outside.
Here, the red car looks as if it is suffering ongoing battering and the front of the mall behind looks like a passing wave!
Then there is the overall misty effect!

Namaste, what a fine haiku. It's so in balance with the ongoing picture. Thank you for sharing.

Great rhythm captured, both in words and in the amazing photograph!! It sure looks like a heavy downpour.
