AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Humility

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ At first glance, this appears to be a young dreamer by the sea.
But the body language also suggests a sense of humility, a sense of respect before the wide expanse of Nature's beauty, all mixed with a sense of pride in just being there!

One Single Impression #154 ~ Humility
~

Humility
Cringes
Grovels
Slithers around
Shivering shades

Pride
Defends
Attacks
Desperately protects
Dubious credibility

Such absolute humility and pride
Lead a lonely timorous existence
Yet in complementary harmony
Tuned to circumstance
A living, vital orchestra is born
~

Very meaningful and so true!! When you have one the other should follow to create a great symphony.

Facing humility maintain self-pride and in humbleness take great pride.

Classic composition Gemma!!

He seems to be humbled by the beauty around him and your words explain it wonderfully.
