G'day sister...thought I would get a note off to you before I leave for work. It's starting to get busy for me now with all the Spring soap orders coming in and the dog groomings are picking up too, as the fur has really grown long over winter and they want them shorter now.

Been a long winter(they all are)even though we haven't had the snows we're used to getting, it all went North and East of us...yayyy!!! But we still have winter, however, it's melting so much faster now, though our rivers are bank full, there will be flooding as all the snows North start to thaw, but, it is what it is and we deal with it as it comes...right!

Hope you aren't working too hard and are getting to the beach! I'm longing for those drives in the country when the roads are safe to drive on and not get stuck. This is a hard season for us, we're just sorta stranded inside. I've heard so many people say they just don't want to leave the house because of the cold...and I can tell by the weight the dogs have put on, not getting regular exercise, including Scratchy!!!

So be well, as always dear sister
and know that I think of you often...big frosty hugs from the Nor'lunds...!!!

She is a true beauty, looking shy yet bemused of all the attention toward her car. And the giraffe. The shadows fall on the car, the animal and door handle creating cool shadows. Who doesn't love a parade??

This is a wonderful shadow shot. I love the colors of blue and the vibrant orange, but most of all, the little girls sweet smile. Too bad you can't find her parents to share this image with them..

Now that's sweet! And her friend is cute! Dogs are the only animals I ever see riding in the backseats of cars :) I hope you had fun at the parade! Have a great week Gemma!

MANY SHADOW-SEEKERS SAY

Many shadow-seekers say,
“Oh, the one that got away!”
Why are you so uptight, folks?
Can’t you take light’s little jokes?
