The shadows resemble little flying saucers from the fifties!

Haven't you been having some grey-day weather? If so, I imagine these shadows are doubly welcome!

A PARFAIT DAY

A seeker of shadows one day
Did trip as she went on her way;
She picked herself up
And dipped from a cup
Of shadowy lemon parfait!

These curvaceous light fixtures add an artistic grace to a mundane car park. They advertise this as a place to stop, shop and enjoy. All from great looking shadows!

Delicate and graceful as a swan's neck, too bad they're on a parking lot...however, beauty is where we behold it, but just look at that brilliant blue sky, the sky of summer!

Glad you got out a bit, it doesn't take much does it, all we need is a little me time to invigorate the soul. For me, just walking around the yard, not having to watch my step for slipping on the ice or having your shoes fill with snow...these are grand days for us, though we hold our breath for the next bout of ol' man winter. There's a winter storm watch for northern Iowa tonight, good thing we're down south!

Been busy playing on my etsy store, have sold 3 baby head nightlights and bunches of soap, it all adds up and I'm grateful for each and every one of them, they allow me to be a stay at home artist, which is especially great in the winter...I just can't force myself to leave when it's freezing outside...lots of hot tea this winter.

But soon I'll be out in my lil' shop playing and hopefully selling! The economy seems to be a little better in my field, people are buying again, which is a much needed boost for us all!

But I'm dieing to get my fingers in the dirt and start planting some new wildflower gardens, you know, the type that you don't need to corral, just let them wander freely over the prairie...the lazy gardener style, though I still pull plenty of weeds and tree seedlings...oh, I dream again!!!

Here's hoping for a wonderful week ahead for you dear friend and bunches and bunches of sunshine! Don't work too hard...thinking of you from the ol' USA...hugs n hugs!!!

I love your 'silent shopping sign' Gemma! You certainly have some striking shadows around your neck of the woods! You'd never want to leave home without your camera! I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend. I'm not sure how the weather is for you right now, but it's sure a hot one here today!

Oh Cool Gemma! Great shot. At first, it seems that circular opening is a shadow too. The shadows so deep and sharp edged. Great stuff.

Peace.
