Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Since moving here just before Christmas to the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula, we are finding out that cockatoos are frequent flyers round our world. They especially enjoy any ripening fruit. But sometimes, they don't quite manage to land elegantly in a selected tree. This guy missed his footing in the small apricot tree and decided to see the world from a different point of view. He looked very strange swinging there!

Wonderful shot. The cockatoo must have been overly eager to get at the fruit. Your photo made me smile.
fantastic capture!!
We should all learn from that - seeing the world from a different point of view, I mean.
In this part of the world the only way you'll see one of these guys is as a pet. Must be amazing to see them in the wild like this.
Looks like it's pretty amusing at times as well!
Both your photo and Haiku made me smile! Lovely ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Wow - what a shot! This is excellent!
