My New Skies

Skywatch Friday #23

O it's good to be online again! The move was exhausting with just a couple of surpise hiccups like my pay didn't appear and I was told I could not have electricity switched on because the house must have been issued a defect notice! (The power guys couldn't reach the main power box! The carport roof covered it! How this possibly could happen I don't know!) But apart from that, I love my new world! We have seen the most glorious skies, including light that looked more like an aurora rather than a rainbow!
~

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Skies from the bottom of the steps to my upper mini verandah. At this stage, I was still too chicken to go up there! Now I am getting better, but I go up very slowly clinging to the railing! I so hate heights! What a woos!

The seas are my dream
The lonely seas and deep skies
Tell me heaven lives

~

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Looking north-west to Melbourne was this strange band of light, mainly pink and green. It was quite broad, and seemed to lead straight from sea to cloud above. There was no bow shape. And it's called?

So glad you are back...what a void that was...and what a view of the lil' mini rainbow. I have a picture of a partial rainbow that appears to be coming out of the end of my road in the distance...magical occurrences they are...but no pot of gold at the end, the knomes must have it.

Glad you are settled in, moving can be such a pain. But did you notice that the Harley's kickstand was down...always a dream of mine, to drive the big machines, wind in hair, freedom at hand...my Brother has a Harley and my Dad two BMW's, but I've always been too chicken to try, besides how could I drive and take pictures at the same time...LOL.

I'll be iced in for a few days, no traffic is moving since the ice storms have hit...more time to play with my toys...have a wonderful day...take the time to enjoy the life.

Always...s

I'm sure it's still called a rainbow, even if the bow part is hidden in the clouds ;)

That is a rainbow effect - they occur like that occasionally.
