I've never lived close to the ocean...only seen it a few times after driving hours and hours, but oh how your excellent pictures of the driftwood and the waves call to me. I ache to walk on the soft copper sand by those beaches! It gives me a vision.
What a lovely blend of photos and poetry! And how accomplished you are at each of those arts! I thoroughly enjoyed this,
Those are awesome shots, and great poetry!
What a marvellous post. Those pictures are wonderful - how much meaning we can place on such images. And beautiful words to match.
How wonderful to "travel" to an undiscovered part of the world through your lovely photos and talented writing! Thanks for commenting on my blog because otherwise I may not have found your site :-)
lovely and full of deep thought....
Driftwood "begging for life" was spot on. Beautiful shots used to complete this artful post.
You are in my thoughts and prayers Gemma. Love is such a wonderous power and gift. BIG WARM HUG
words and pictures so skillfully interwoven to create the whole image --- beautiful post!!!
You have a way of saying volumes with just a few words - and the photos are breathtaking.
Nature does have a vision of it's own, doesn't it, and it all works out somehow.
Beautiful post!
I've always found driftwood beautiful - nice to know someone else does too! Masterfully put together!
I would love to stroll this beach. Fantastical, "mythical creature" shapes created by these driftwoods...
Few words say so much - how wise and clever you are ... a totally magnificent post ;)
