Sunday Scribblings Prompt ~ Guide
~
Since the dawn of my digital camera days
Unexpected beauty in
Unexpected frames
Is a guide to
New scenes
New stories
New poetry through
New eyes

The humble canna lily ~
Often clumped to fill an awkward space ~
In close up
Can be a delight of mysterious colour tones
In a delicate bouquet of
Raindrops

But candlight
Softly flickering
By even the smallest feast
Becomes a guide for the senses
To the highest treasures in
The deepest wells
~
And there are other guides. Life skills, personal experiences and school are all guides for living. In my recent post on AuraGem Songlines, called 3 faces of early learning, I reflect on different reactions to learning.

My digital camera has made me see beauty I'd have never noticed. Love your three poems especially "bouquet of raindrops."
