Great shadow shots for the day! Love the colorful leaves, Gemma! I still have a hard time thinking of June as autumn, but just one more interesting difference in our worlds! Have a beautiful weekend!

I love the whole feel of this one. It's so different from the usual, sunny shots we see.
beautiful photo...i love leaves. "last sighs of autumn" beautiful words!!!
I like the contrast between the silvery wood and the vibrant colours of the leaves
Gemma, I love these pictures....who needs sunshine for some fantastic shadows?! We can almost hear the pitter-pat of the rain :) Enjoy your weekend!
beautiful leaves, nearly perfect shapes
beautiful colours on these leaves - quite lovely
I forgot that you are heading for winter, hence the ruby fallen leaves. They may not be on a tree any more, but their well-defined shape still adds an artistic flair as they lie on the wood deck. Not somber, but the beauty of nature all around us, both up and down...
A reminder for me that summer here is fall there. Well, I guess, technically, it is still spring here.
Beautiful shots!
you ahve autumn leafs. :) Our summer just begins. :) Nice shadows and reflections.
This is a lovely collage accompanied by lovely words, Gemma.
I, too, have a hard time thinking of June as Autumn, but there you go, some things are just different!
Great capture.
Love the color of the leaves!
great serene captures you have here with those damp leaves.
I love visiting my Aussie bloggers with your switch-a-roo seasons with us in the states.
