I measure out my life with haiku. My camera films my soul. ~ Gemma Wiseman

Collage by Gemma Wiseman ~ I decided to celebrate the first Blue Monday of Spring with flags from my world.
All these photos are from 2009 Australia Day in January.
The Dromana flag in the middle celebrates my own little seaside township.
The blue and yellow flag is our Visitor's Information Centre flag.
And of course, there are a few Australian flags here.

In the middle of the collage are "treasured" rocks that have travelled with me for many years.

NOTE: A new post called Mysterious Wildlife now appears on my AuraGem Songlines.
Would someone be able to tell me what is my mystery invader?

Collage by Gemma Wiseman ~ Included is Michelle's photo of a dove statue from her Cincinnati Zoo visit.
It sits at the Garden of Peace entrance.
The remaining images are some of my ornaments with a photo overlay of a wild and grey and stormy day in the Dromana Hills.

Cafe Writing ~ 2008 Holiday Project ~ Option 6 ~ Timed Writing ~ Unseen and Unseeable Wonders
~
The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that’s no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.
~Francis P. Church, “Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus”

Behind the veil
Mountains wing weary walkers to the skies
Clouds bring sunny rains in midnights
Seas cradle sailors to many homes
Any homes

Above the veil

The moon tumbles joyfully down
A romantic waterfall

Beneath the veil
The song of a willow smiling
A rose weeping

Around the veil
An endless
Fairy ring
