A lonely looking sky indeed, you can almost feel it just looking at your wonderful capture, Gemma! Perfect words as always! I love the bird! Perfect! Have a beautiful weekend! Stay warm!

Lonely and ominous! Did a rain shower catch you?

Sure does look lonely!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
It is nice to have a beach to yourself. Beautiful capture and happy skywatching!.
Terrific sky.
It may be a lonely sky, but it certainly is a pretty one. The beach with all the seaweed reminds me so of my childhood. The image is so peaceful. Lovely. genie
What a lovely beach!!
Lonely, yes, but peaceful, too.
I really like the curve of the beach.
Have a blessed day!

a serious sky; looking decidedly 'cool'
Beautiful beach, beautiful bird, beautiful poem. Makes me think of the song Lonely Looking Sky by Neil Diamond, in his Jonathan Livingston Seagull, an album that meant a great deal to me on my odyssey to the sea.
Thank you for a dramatic scenery.
Love it.
Best whishes for the weekend.
