A Melbourne tram running along Swanston Street advertises this unusual one-woman show.
Bernadette Robinson plays five ordinary women and five iconic singers - Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf and Maria Callas. Each “nobody” recounts an intimate tale of how her life was transformed by an encounter with one of these icons.
The show has been performed in Melbourne's Fairfax Theatre and will be performed at the Sydney Opera House from February 3 - March 4. For more details see HERE!

Oh, that was WONDERFUL! I would definitely go see this if she ever comes to Toronto!
Sounds great, I would love to hear her show!
I just googled her name - what a prolific artist!
and as a bonus, I like that little stop sign with the feet
Great sign. And I like the little stop sign in the tram.
I wanted more! What a variety of songbirds!
Sounds like an interesting show.
Our signal is so slow way out here in the country between 2 mountains I cannot get the streaming to let me hear the clip. What a disappointment. Wish it was coming here to the states. I bet it is a fabulous performance. genie
The show sure sounds interesting, and when I watched the video? Wow - her voice just blew me away! What a talented woman!
Good site! I really love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a nice day!
