I'm so very lucky!
Seeing the ships lets me be the girl who danced through a honeymoon cruise.
A locked, endless honeymoon...a still..

I wonder if she will ever see the Honeymoon end? Nice Microfiction Gemma
Awww...Sweet memories of honeymoon love, and continuing one with mature honeymoon love. Lovely MfM.
I like your romantic approach, Gemma!

Lovely one :o)
The endless honeymoon. Nice idea!
Very romantic. Well done.
Tis a talent you have to get a cruise ship out of a barge! Well done!
How marvellous to retain that feeling throughout life.
It is SO ROMANTIC....
Well done!

shakira
beautiful memories revive up with beautiful objects :)
One wonders about the rest of the story. I felt a hint of sadness here.
Oh, Gemma - what a beautiful moment, let me sit down for a while near you and dream into this blue ... outstanding picture!
thanks for this dreamlike feeling!!
wish you a fantastic tuesday,
isabella
What a beautiful memory for her.
Yes but love of 20 years later is often better! My 140 Hope your week goes well
Beauty, space, dream, peace. Yep, these are essential at this moment, for me too!
Hey that remembrance of a lifelong honeymoon, brought on by observing an oil tanker--that's the way I think! The sea is the thing, and whatever floats can evoke that fondest recollection.
PEACE to you also!
Such a lovely microfiction :)
what a story to tell, beautiful.
Like Quilly, I catch a hint of sadness in this. That made the story grow in depth for me.
Have a wonderful week.
Michael G-G
Quilly and Michael G-G are very clever! I tried to imbue a sense of something else in this micro. The clues are "locked" and "a still"...something frozen in time...like a still from a movie...There's the sadness...She dreams of a moment that progresses nowhere...Something happened on the honeymoon!
I love how memories, especially good ones, never leave us.
oh I don't like that word "still"
something else is going on here
but I hope the dancing was good for at least that night
If a couple works at it the honeymoon never has to end...great MM
Have a wonderful week. Cheers!
I loved the phrase "locked, endless honeymoon."
No wonder she watches for them -- what a sweet one!
