Oh, I love lace shadows, Gemma, and this one is gorgeous! Perfect words to match, too! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend!

Beautiful shadows, and a beautiful haiku :)
Looks like your ready to celebrate Father's Day.
Lace tablecloth knows best for you to enjoy to the fullest.
Cheers!
Gemma, beautiful shadows, such a pretty picture lace makes.
Happy Sunday.
I don't know how to describe the lacy effects, perhaps abstract, The shadow though is rich in style, is cool - curves, arcs ad patterns on interest, What I do know is that it is a beautiful shadow!
Oh, you know I love old lace...or new lace, I just love lace, I think it's because of the wonderful shadows it casts in the sunshine...or maybe it's the sunshine...I can never get enough, especially when I know it's coming to an end. Boy has it been chilly in the mornings, but warms up later in the day, but the humidity seems to have 'left the building'...ha, but I'll still miss it.
Now that I have so much to do on the new studio, it hardly matters. At least I'll have a place to store my projects instead of in the middle of my living room...studio, sweet studio...now to work on keeping it warm when the temps drop!
Things look like they're in full bloom for y'all down under...what a glorious time this Spring thing, it makes it all worth while, soon you'll have summer breaks aye...and sunny days at the beach...I dream...have a wonderful time for me too, as Autumn slowly drags winter to our door...sigh!!!
Talk to ya soon dear soul sister...big hugs as always from afar!!!

The lace makes such interesting shadows! Love your haiku as well!
I enjoyed all your water and nature photos. I love this one, too.
Thanks for your nice comment on my critter post last week.
Really beautiful!
Dramatic shot...dark but not black, light but not white...beautiful pattern of lace...
Happy Sunday!
Beautiful shot, love lace.
I love shadow shots made from things with fine edges, like the lace you have here. Good capture.
Peace.
This is so good, Gemma. The shadow was so clear, I thought I was looking at an area rug next to the tablecloth. It took a moment for this to even register that it was, in fact, your shadow for this week. Really outstanding.
A gem of a photo, as usual, Gemma, and I love that the movement in your shadow is reflected in your fluid haiku! Lovely...
What a lovely tablecloth! And a very clever tablecloth to cast such a pretty shadow!
PS - No probs re forgetting to comment Gemma. I'm actually behind in catching up this week so have been forgetful too!
Hope your week is off to a good start :)
I stumbled upon your lovely blog and wanted to tell you about a project that I have going on over at my Blog. The Happiness Project is a Tuesday blog hop that I host. All you have to do is post a photo of something that makes you happy, it's that simple. I'm trying to take over the blogosphere with happiness!
Here is a link to last week's post if you would like to check it out.
