3WW prompt ~ cautious human maybe
~
It is human nature to be curious ~
To feel some intense longing
To peek over the edge
To see
What it could be like
On the other side ~
But maybe
It is quite fortunate
That some angel
Thought of adding
Some cautious
Cross-wired
Posts and rails
Before you get there

i live in an area of rocky ledges overlooking the pacific,, and to my disbelief,, at least monthly... someone falls in.. what is up with the level of curiosity that would take you over the end of a rock mass and leave you dead on the beach below???? i will never understand......
I think I got too much caution, not enough curiosity? Or maybe just the wrong type of curiosity... that's probably it.
Getting the balance right - so difficult.
A delicate poem. I imagine our curiosity about spirit and an afterlife. So I am thankful for the protective angels.
I loved how you added the angel and metaphor. If not for the barriers I'd be toast.
Beautiful shots!
If there are no barriers I don't go out
