Silent Sunday
In the early grey hours
Of a dawn waiting for rain ~
And the tea room
At the base of the mountain
Was a lonely echo of
Other days
When people thronged
To journey the mountain slope
In a tiny chair
~
The picture
The reality
Seemed so forlorn
~
But a little light
Of imagination
Could so easily
Give a sad light
A new glow
~
