AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Tables and Chairs

Early Sunday morning view of waiting tables and chairs at Rosebud Plaza

It should be busy
But it will be very soon
Maybe o too soon

Shadow Quote from Edith Piaf's song Milord
 Come along, Milord!
Sit at my table;
It is so cold, outside,
Here it's comfortable.
Relax, Milord
And make yourself at ease,
Your troubles on my heart
And your feet on a chair
I know you, Milord,
You've never seen me,
I'm just a girl from the docks,
Just a shadow of the street...

Those chairs make really interesting shadows!

The restaurant, which may be is devoid of patrons now - so the shadows can be hunted and captured very easily. The shape of the chairs add a neat style to the shadows. A fun bit of artistry here!

Lovely chairs that leave such delightful shadows on the deck! It looks a bit lonely now, but I bet that doesn't last long! Wonderful composition and shadows for the day, Gemma!!

It must be very early Sunday morning, because I see some shops still shuttered!

The chair certainly made for a lovely shadow. The shadow looks like a stencil on the flow. So pretty. genie
