AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

We have lots of sea gulls here, even in my garden. I live 5 minutes from the beach.

LOVE this photo. Waves crashing. Seagulls staring. Oh, yes, let me feel the salt spray in my face right now.

Awesome picture! I love this haiku very much. I need that inner strength every day at work. Working as an oncology nurse isn't always easy ... in some cases I have to pull my inner strength and inner energy to do my job.
Thank you for sharing this nice haiku with us.
