May the newspaper continue to be the voice of the country for decades to come. (I love reading a newspaper, but fear for their continued existence).
That is a fantastic sign - great find! And thanks for sharing it with us :)
The Weekly Times sure has been around for a long, long time!
Like the bird, 1869 is a long time to be running the presses.
That reminds me of the Weekly Reader (a weekly paper I got in grade school).
That paper has a lovely logo and a lot of history. This would probably be the 1800's version of Twitter :-) Thanks for showing it!
I am so happy to see newspapers survive in this internet age. This sign is nice with the bird in the center.
a newspaper based on "a little bird told me..." great sign!
I love the bird in the logo too.
That's a great vintage sign.
Very Aussie sign.
love it! so old school ;-)
Nice sign, everybody needs a voice.
Long time for a newspaper to be published. Yea for them!
Kudos to The Weekly Times for surviving so long! It's a nice sign, with that bird.
Very beautiful sign!
Thanks for sharing;o)

Have a nice day****
I hope they survive in this digital age; for a while a lot of small newspapers were folding. Now they seem to be holding their own. Barely.
