Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ I don't think that I have ever seen such a picture pile of symbolic signs as this!
They mark a rather narrow, treed winding walkway near the roadside (left of photo) at Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula

That's ok with me! Don't need to take your horse or motorbike! It seems a beautiful and peaceful place to go for a walk!
That's a good thing for walkers who don't want to hear the noise of a motorbike.
seems a much safer path without the motorbikes and horses.
Leave leave no room for doubt as to what is permitted and what is not.
3 FOR THE PRICE OF 1! Great catch. Cannot imagine riding a horse down the road, but for the sign to be there people must be doing it. Surely this triple decker will do the job!
It's a good thing they added the words. I didn't recognize the motorbike symbol. Maybe if I had a motorbike, I would recognize it though.
No no no! It's too bad they couldn't make just one sign to cover all that -- this looks so crabby. (The RV Park where we stay in Oregon is kind of like that -- there are so many "no" signs posted it feels rather as if Big Brother is lecturing!)
It will be a peaceful path, apart from the bike bells.
I like it that the signs are clearly posted. I just hope people obey them. :)
That's my kind of place ^_^
Signs
That is a lot of signs, but the good thing is you cant miss them!! :-)
That sign would take a while to figure out.
I find the iconography of signs fascinating. Interesting that the motorbike sign shows a person and the bike sign does not. Biking being more active and involving the person more, I'd think the other way round would make more sense.
Fun picture, nonetheless. Looks like you're having good weather still if this is recent.
It's interesting to note that only males ride bikes and motorbikes, while females ride horses. I guess you could say the sign is politically correct.
At least we know who can go where. Nice capture!
