When I began to read I presumed the 'except one' was you. Maybe that should read 'except two'. Delightful.

When we were little, the interest in the grown-ups in anything was probably the sign that when grown-ups were all interested, to the child, it has to be boring...

With the beautiful beach sand, what kid of any age could resist playing at the beach??

Perfect expression of childhood, Gemma. While everyone else is lined up and focused on the objective, the little guy is on a voyage of discovery.

Lots of reds! Love the haiku and the little boy who is obviously dancing to the beat of a different drummer.
