Things That Fly!

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ This is the Labour Day long weekend in Melbourne, Victoria.
At Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula, it is also the 8th year of the Kite Festival.
Here is a collage of things flying in the wind on the Rosebud foreshore.
Believe it or not. that bottom middle photo represents a kite!

What a sight to see! Kites certainly have come a long way since I was a child. They take on so many different shapes and colours. Kite flying is one of our favourite pastimes in the summer.

Gemma...I know I have said it before, but your photography is absolutely the best. You alway use color which makes so many of your shots so appealing to me in particular. I love this flying thing mosaic. The section with the large vertical flags is fabulous. A great post...job well done! Thanks. Genie
