Today's Prompt ~ First and Last
Today we will use the line...
THE DOG WAS HAVING A GRAND TIME
The rules are you must use this as your first AND last line in your write, with no changes...
The dog was having a grand time
Romping and dashing around
Scattering piles of Autumn leaves
(We had just raked into mounds)
Diving into the swimming pool
Now the beach ball has a new hole
Scrambling out to chase the cat
And piddle on the WET PAINT pole
And the clothes line gets attention
Such a tempting long long sheet
A skip and a jump
And a little bite
And a spin round the world is so neat
But hey! Is that Mum and Dad shouting!
Stop! Drop!
What a great rhyme!
They love my wonderful talents
The dog was having a grand time

I love your poem about the dog having a grand time. Blessings
Clever dog! It saw the sign 'Wet Paint' and did!
(sorry, not original)
And about the rest... just because I don't always comment doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the visit!
Like the dog, just leaving a calling card to say I have been bere.
