What a creative title! The shadows do indeed appear to be walking :-)
Delightful imagery, Gemma. Great photo and I love the idea of the shadows tumbling down the fence palings to dance with fallen leaves.

I can only repeat what Janice and Kay have written, you are indeed so very creative, Gemma, and your photos and words are always delightful! Enjoy!

Nice play of light, shadow and words.
The shadows wash upon the fence. The barrier is not unattractive, but the foliage leaves wonderful shadows. The light sun and new growth says that Spring has arrived, and beautiful weather is all about!
ah...dancing with fallen leaves...sounds divine gemma. i am doing it in my mind right now.
namaste.
Oh, Sister, if only we could share that walk...but let's make it in Australia where we know the snows won't bother us. Oh how I'd love to be taking that walk with you photographing flowers and beach sheds, storm clouds and shore birds, mailboxes and that white pony...would we have fun...bare toes in the surf, salt air in the hair and a sister to share a thought...oh we are the romantic pair aye...ha!
Glad to hear your reports are winding down and school will soon be out, I bet you'll be happy to rest your brain, if only for a bit!
It was quite chilly today, 34 this morning and I don't think it raised much...BRISK and damp. I think we may be getting snow soon, Scratchy has caught 3 voles so far, in two days...it must be a sign, they want in outta the cold too...sorry boys, it's back outside for you, but at least it keeps her fulfilling her part of the job!
Now that my shop is electrified, maybe I'll be able to work a bit out there with a small heater running, we'll see, I'm just so thrilled and yes, happy! You just have to constantly see the happy, it's everywhere! We had a busy day at the store today, so I'm all kinds o happy!!!
Have a wonderful week sis, enjoy them Spring rains...and think big hugs from Iowa comin' atcha!!!

Beautiful shot.
Green Bottle Shadows
Lovely Gemma -- reminds me a little of a picture I have from our roadtrip that I meant to post to SS (I don't think I already have) will have to go and check now. It's still Saturday here in the Pacific Northwest USA ;>)
I really like fence shadows. :-)
I don't always leave a comment on every post but I've been enjoying the photos and haiku on a regular basis.
Peace and love,
Gina
Great shot Gemma, and lovely words to go with it. Love the shadows dancing down the fence.
Love the way the shadows seem to shimmer on the fence post! Love your haiku as well!
Great title, and a lovely, sun-dappled scene. I enjoyed the haiku, too.
such a lovely warm shot Gemma
I'd like to take a shadwoy walk along there! It looks very pretty! Have an awesome week ahead Gemma! You must be looking forward to December. Holidays for you! Holidays for me too! :)
Beautiful shadow and words.
Another great shot here. I like some shadows are sharp, others softer, walking together then, I guess. Great fence in and of itself. That would be expensive to build here. Good to see leaves on trees, and green! Winter is settling in here.
Peace.
Love the shadowy fence & greenery. (I bet that is difficult to put new paint on!) Very lovely ShadowShot MissGemma! Have a good week.
Lovely shadows dancing on the fence.
