Thursday Two Questions #11
~
1) What does Thanksgiving mean to you? Since Thanksgiving isn't a holiday celebrated by everyone around the world. This question could be: what are you thankful for lately?
For me, in Australia, Thanksgiving is like "the entree" to the close of the year, finalising with hopeful resolutions at New Year!
Thanksgiving is a time to savour achievements and treasured moments over the past year.
My Question is: Do you think Thankgsgiving should be a time for valuing all blessings?
~
2) Do you think Thanksgiving should be a week long celebration?
I would support Thanksgiving becoming an international celebration.
The week begins with the American celebration and then each continent has a day of the week to follow.
My Question is: Do you think Thanksgiving could become an international event?
~

Always time to pause
Remember the small treasures
World wide Thanksgiving

answers to Thursday Two Questions:

yes, valuing all blessings and celebrating what we are to each other.

Thanksgiving as an international event-why not? a global celebration is a great idea!

I love your thanksgiving wordle. It's beautiful! And, I love rain and mist -- that's a great thing to be thankful for.

What am I thankful for? New starts. Hope.

A week long celebration? I like it as a day. As a family we prep for Thanksgiving for most of Novemeber. I think that if it was a week we might lose some of the intensity of thankfulness.

International? I'm not sure. It would be cool if it was.

Happy Thanksgiving!

1) Yes, I do Thanksgiving is a great time to celebrate and value all blessings.
2) Yes, I think it could and to how it fits with each country. If there is such a thing.

Your post is beautiful today.
1)Yes. I think my family has adapted the Thanksgiving holiday to be a time of family gathering and a time to be thankful for all the blessed things we have in our lives.
2)I am not sure, since the real meaning of Thanksgiving has to do with Pilgrims and Native Indians and what had happened back then...But it doesn't mean that if a country adopted Thanksgiving that they can't have a meaning of their own. Great questions. Thanks for joining us today.
