Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Yesterday, this spider appeared near the railing of my verandah in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula.
I have never seen a spider like this before with front legs black with white spots and orange toned back legs.
The body shone in the sunlight, but in the shadow clearly was also marked with white spots!
Does anyone have any idea what kind of spider this is?
It seems like an orb spider, but I am not sure!
